Join us for an evening with James Frederick! James is currently circumnavigating the world on his 1965 sloop, SV Triteia and will be presenting on his journey from discovering sailing and slow travel in 2014, to finding his boat in 2017, and finally pushing off in 2021.

We'll have drinks and snacks available as well as a chance-to-win drawing where you can win some Patagonia gear!

Doors will open at 6:30 PM

Presentation will begin at 7 PM

James Frederick

James Frederick is a solo sailor who is circumnavigating onboard his 1965 sloop, SV Triteia. Since departing Los Angeles in 2021, Frederick has sailed more than 8000 nm through the Hawaiian Islands, French Polynesia, American Samoa, Fiji and New Zealand and will continue on to Australia and Southeast Asia in 2024.

Sharing is life online through weekly videos on his YouTube channel and as long format films of the ocean crossings, Frederick has more than 100k subscribers with more than 9.5 million channel wide views. His writings about his adventures have been published in Yachting World, Cruising World, Good Old Boat, Latitude 38 and more.

Frederick hopes to encourage other people to chase their dreams that might seem out of reach by showing them it is possible. Adventure and the magic of our natural world is accessible to everyone, we just have to find it.
